Notes about the German versions of this volume:
1st edition 1963. Reprinted 1983. Text based on the typed reconstruction of an unknown stenographer (the original stenogram is no longer extant). The were one-off public lectures over a four-month period to rally support for the idea. They were initially published in 1919 under the title "Writings of the Union for the Threefolding of the Social Organism" though in that edition the were re-worked by editors. This edition remains true to the stenogram. For the lecture of June 16th there exist corrections in Steiner's own hand. Otherwise only the initial stenographic reconstruction of lectures remain. These lectures contain whole passages that are word-for-word identical between lectures, something that is otherwise fairly uncommon in Stiener's lecturing.
