Notes about the German versions of this volume:
Initially published in a periodical in 1926. 1st book edition 1927 (with the title: Anthroposophy: an Introduction to the Anthorposophical Worldview). Reprinted 1934, 1959, and 1974. 5th edition of 1981 changed the title to the current one. Reprinted 1994 and 2009. Though not stated in the book, these lectures were likely stenographically recorded by Helene Finckh, with the text based on her initial typed reconstruction. The 5th edition mentions that a few phrases were updated based on a comparison with the original stenogram. The notes further explain that the title was changed in 1981 because of frequent misunderstandings based on the fact that the lectures are not, in actuality, introductory in nature.
