Notes about the German versions of this volume:
1st edition 1967. 2nd revised edition published 1985. Two lectures were previously published as books in 1938 and 1958. Three lectures were published in a periodical in 1930, and a further nine in 1954-55. 16 of 17 of the lectures were professionally stenographically recorded by Helene Finckh. The first edions were printed from her initial reconstruction. The 2nd edition was revised by comparing the first edition to the original stenogram. One lecture was was stenographically recorded by Walter Vegelahn.
