1st edition in this arrangement, 1969. 2nd revised and corrected edition 1976. 3rd revised edition published 1986, reprinted 1996. Most lectures were previously published between 1936 and 1950, either as individual lecture-books, or in periodicals. Stenographically recorded by Helene Finckh, the first versions were printed from her initial reconstruction. The 2nd edition was revised by comparing the first edition to the original stenograms, which are extant for all but one lecture.
