Notes about the German versions of this volume:
1st edition 1989. Previously circulated in manuscript format as far back as 1919. This book reproduces the proceedings of seven "discussion evenings" with Steiner and large groups of workers. Text based on the typed reconstruction of an unknown stenographer. The stenogram is no longer extant. The stenographer had to take down often four-hour-long sessions and discussions with multiple speakers in a large and crowded hall. In the manuscript it is clear that this work was challenging. A number of sentences remain incomplete, indicating gaps in the stenogram. Some sections are clearly summarizing the content, rather than reproducing the proceedings word-for-word. And in some instances it is clear that the stenographer did not understand the specialized vocabulary.
English Complete Works Version: This volume has yet to be published in a Complete Works edition.
English Non-Complete Works Full Versions: No English translations exist that included this volume in its entirety.
