The Complete Works of Rudolf Steiner: Volume 151

Der menschliche und der kosmische Gedanke

    Human Thought and Cosmic Thought

Der menschliche und der kosmische Gedanke

Section of the Complete Works: Private Lectures to the Members of the Anthroposophical Society

    First German Edition published 1915.

Notes about the German versions of this volume:
1st edition 1915, reprinted 1931, 1949, 1961. 5th edition with minor revisions 1979, reprinted 1990. Originally "Cycle 33". Stenographer: Walter Vegelahn. For the 5th edition a stenographic reproduction from Clara Michels was discovered, which makes for a nice contrast. Clara's version was shorter, omitting repetitions and restatements, but very pricise. The contrast shows that Vegelahns version introduces a smoothing of the style, and does not always precicely reproduces things word for word.
