Per Albrecht Strohschein, Rudolf Stiener requested that no stenographer be present, but gave permisison for participants to take notes. Three participants took notes during the course, and then worked together to reconstruct, as well as they were able, what Stiener had said. The text is based on their effort. Very modest typographical corrections were made for the book edition.
