Notes about the German versions of this volume:
1st edition 1957. 2nd revised and expanded edition published 1981. Portions were printed in a private edition of 1949. There were no stenographers present for these addresses. The text is based on participant notes that are fragmentary and contain many gaps. The address of March 20th is based on notes written after the fact, complemented by additional material from the memory of the note-taker written down decades after the fact. Werner Teichert painstaikingly tracked down all available sets of notes from participants and worked on merging them into the a single official version. Marie Steiner did the final editing.
