1st edition in this arrangement, 1968. Reprinted 1972. 3rd revised edition published 1977, reprinted 1989 and 2007. Individual lectures were previously published 1923, 1931, 1945, and 1950. Six of the lectures were professionally stenographically recorded by Helene Finckh, the first edition was printed from her initial reconstruction. The 3rd edition was revised by comparing the first edition to the original stenogram. The other three lectures were stenographically recorded by Walter Vegelahn. For those lectures only the initial reconstruction is still extant; the stenogram did not survive.
