1st edition 1910, reprinted 1929 and 1936. 4th expanded edition published 1960, reprinted with minor revisions in 1972. 6th revised edition 1981, reprinted 1991. Originally "Cycle Seven". Presumably stnographically recorded by Walter Vegelahn, no stenogram or stenographic reconstruction has survived, only the original first printing. Steiner drew on a blackboard, but all that survives are the stenographer's sketches of the blackboards, which are the basis of the illustrations.
